Comfortable apartment with private internal courtyard, located in a period residence of which it retains evidence of the original architecture, such as the stone vaults and niches in the walls. In 90 m2 the apartment accommodates up to 6 people with great comfort, thanks to 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Located in the center of Ortelle, the location is convenient for visiting the wonders of Salento: 10 minutes by car from Castro and Santa Cesarea and 20 from Otranto. Lecce is only 40 km away.

The 100 m2 accommodation is on two levels with separate entrances from the private internal courtyard: note the presence of 4 steps at the entrance to the main floor and a flight of stairs to go down to access the lower level.

ATTENTION: the terrace with access from the courtyard is NOT usable.

All identity documents of the residents must be shown upon arrival as required by Italian law.

Switching on and off air conditioning and heating is subject to compliance with current Italian legislation (DPR 16/04/2013 n.74, DM 383 of 6.10.2022).
Summer: the average air temperature must not get below 26°C (78,8 °F) for all kinds of buildings
Winter: the weighted average of the air temperatures must not exceed 19°C (66,2 °F). Time and period of operation depend on the climatic zone defined by the standard.

Ortelle is a small village in the heart of Salento, perfect as a starting point to discover the wonders of the area: it is in fact located a few kilometers from unmissable places such as Castro, Santa Cesarea Terme, Santa Maria di Leuca and Lecce. The inhabited center is very suggestive, it develops in buildings with one or two floors at most but with a widespread presence of 'low' and basements, many dug into the rock. There are numerous points of interest: the Church of San Vito, the Mother Church dedicated to S. Giorgio (the patron saint), the Crypt of Ortelle, among the religious buildings of historical importance. Also worth seeing is the Chapel of Saints Vito and Marina built on a crypt, in which it is possible to admire valuable wall paintings. Finally, a trip to the hamlet of Vignacastrisi with the natural area of ​​Zona Canali, full of karst caves, fauna and flora that would otherwise be difficult to trace in Salento, is not to be missed.
The accommodation is located in a central position, a few steps from the points of interest and with all the essential services at hand: bars, supermarkets and pharmacies are in fact within 300 meters.

- From Brindisi Airport, the most convenient way to reach the apartment is by taxi (1 hour and 10 minutes, 90 km).

- If you're traveling by car, parking on the street and nearby streets is free.
