The operation of air conditioning and heating systems is subject to current Italian regulations (DPR 16/04/2013 no. 74; Ministerial Decree 383 of 6 October 2022).
Summer: the average air temperature must not be lower than 26°C for all building types.
Winter: the weighted average air temperature must not exceed 19°C. The operating season and daily duration depend on the climate zone defined by regulations.
Catania (Climate Zone B): 7 hours per day from 8 December to 23 March.

There are several steps, arranged in two flights, to access the property. Inside, there is a marble staircase leading to the second floor, as well as additional steps to access the en-suite bathrooms in the bedrooms. Please exercise caution if traveling with children.

The apartment enjoys a particularly advantageous, central location, very close to major historical and tourist attractions—all easily accessible on foot—and is well-served by public transport, thanks to its proximity to the metro (Stesicoro station).
Must-see sights include the Catania Cathedral (Duomo), with the Elephant Fountain in the square out front; the historic fish market; Piazza dell'Università; the Ancient Greco-Roman Theatre; and the Teatro Massimo Bellini. Also noteworthy are the Benedictine Monastery—the second-largest in Europe—and the Castello Ursino, dating back to the era of Frederick II.
