Casarano, in the province of Lecce, is one of the towns of lower Salento, located in the heart of Puglia. Among the places of greatest interest are the Church of Casaranello with its Byzantine mosaics, the Baroque Mother Church and historic buildings such as Palazzo d'Aquino.
