Charming apartment of about 75 sqm, for up to 2 people, located on the ground floor of a building with a step to access it. The accommodation is located in the heart of the wonderful island of Ortigia (Restricted-Traffic Area), the historic center of Syracuse, along the Levante waterfront.
The accommodation consists of a living room, a kitchen, a bedroom, a small courtyard, a complete bathroom and a service bathroom.

The accommodation is organized as follows:
- LIVING ROOM with sofa;
- KITCHEN with gas hob (4 burners), fridge, freezer, dishwasher, kettle, oven, kitchenware and dining table;
- SERVICE BATHROOM with sink and toilet;
- BEDROOM with double bed, wardrobe, FULL BATHROOM (with shower, sink, bidet and toilet) and access to the SMALL COURTYARD;
- SMALL COURTYARD with small table and chairs.

FURTHER SERVICES AVAILABLE TO GUESTS: unlimited wifi, air conditioning with heat pumps (split in the kitchen and bedroom), washing machine/dryer (in the kitchen), insect screens, iron and ironing board, drying rack and hairdryer.

PLEASE NOTE: To access the full bathroom it is necessary to go through the double bedroom.

PLEASE NOTE: at the moment in the building next to the apartment are renovations, therefore there may be noise.

The apartmet is for the exclusive use of our guests and won't be shared with the host or other tenants.

To ensure the security of your personal data, 7 days before your arrival you will receive instructions to register your documents via our Guest Portal and to pay the tourist tax (4% of the cost of the stay up to a maximum of €5.00 per person per night of stay, up to a maximum of 7 nights).
We need such procedure to verify your ids and docs and in order to send info to the police service "Alloggiati Web" which is Italian procedure to host guest in italy.

Switching on and off air conditioning and heating is subject to compliance with current Italian legislation (DPR 16/04/2013 n.74, DM 6/10/2022 n.383).
Summer: the average air temperature must not get below 26°C (78,8 °F) for all kinds of buildings.
Winter: the weighted average of the air temperatures must not exceed 19°C (66,2 °F). Time and period of operation depend on the climatic zone defined by the standard.
Syracuse Climatic Zone B: 7 hours a day from December 8th to March 23rd.

Check-in will take place in online self check-in mode, completing registration is MANDATORY in order to receive instructions on how to collect the keys and access the apartment.
Keys can be collected free of charge via on-site keybox.
In case of problems, telephone assistance will be guaranteed until 10pm.

If you wish to receive the keys from a member of our staff in the apartment, it is possible, upon request with payment of a supplement equal to:
- From 15:00 to 21:00: EUR 15.00;
- From 21:00 to 23:00: EUR 25.00.

The apartment is located in the heart of the wonderful island of Ortigia, along the Levante seafront. In a few minutes on foot it is possible to reach all the main attractions. The accommodation is easily reachable without crossing the restricted traffic zone and with the possibility of paid parking (Parking Talete) near the apartment.
Walking through the streets of the island, it is possible to admire centuries of history, splendid buildings, lively trattorias and cafés, as well as other monuments such as the Maniace Castle, the Fonte Aretusa and the Piazza del Duomo, one of the most spectacular in all of Sicily.

Main points of interest:
- Temple of Apollo: 5 minutes on foot;
- Piazza Duomo/Temple of Athena: 8 minutes on foot;
- Fonte Aretusa: 11 minutes on foot;
- Maniace Castle: 20 minutes on foot.

- Ortigia Antica Locanda restaurant: 3 minutes on foot;
- Ancient Market of Ortigia: 6 minutes on foot;
- Caffè d'Ortigia (bar): 6 minutes on foot;
- Coop (supermarket): 6 minutes on foot.

The main towns of Sicily can be reached by Interbus coaches from the central station (via Rubino), where the shuttles to Catania-Fontanarossa airport also depart (approximately 1 hour journey).

- FROM CATANIA AIRPORT: it is possible to reach the apartment by taking the ALIBUS bus service that connects Catania airport to Catania Central Station, where it is possible to take the regional train to Syracuse station, 20 minutes on foot from the property.
Alternatively, it is possible to reach the apartment from the airport by taking Interbus bus, up to Syracuse Station.

- FROM SYRACUSE STATION: it is possible to reach the apartment on foot in less than 20 minutes or by taking the one of the internal buses.

- IF YOU ARE TRAVELING BY CAR: The nearest car park is 300 mt away from the apartment and is called “Talete”. It’s open 24/7, with convenient fares.
