Cozy 45 sqm apartment, able to accommodate up to 4 people, located on the first floor of a building with lift (some steps to access it) in the historic center of Syracuse. The accommodation is located on the island of Ortigia, right above the market, a few steps from the temple of Apollo and all the main points of interest.
The accommodation consists of a living room with a kitchenette, a bedroom and a bathroom.

The accommodation is organized as follows:
- LIVING ROOM with double sofa bed, TV, dining table and KITCHENETTE (gas hob, fridge, freezer, moka, kettle, oven, wine glasses and kitchenware);
- BEDROOM with double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers;
- BATHROOM with shower box, sink, bidet and toilet.

FURTHER SERVICES AVAILABLE TO GUESTS: unlimited wifi, air conditioning with heat pumps (split in the living room and bedroom), washing machine, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and drying rack.
Cot and high chair on request depending on availability.

PLEASE NOTE: the accommodation is located right above the Ortigia market; given its centrality, in some hours, there could be noise.

Switching on and off air conditioning and heating is subject to compliance with current Italian legislation (DPR 16/04/2013 n.74, DM 6/10/2022 n.383).
Summer: the average air temperature must not get below 26°C (78,8 °F) for all kinds of buildings.
Winter: the weighted average of the air temperatures must not exceed 19°C (66,2 °F). Time and period of operation depend on the climatic zone defined by the standard.
Syracuse Climatic Zone B: 7 hours a day from December 8th to March 23rd.

Check-in will take place in online self check-in mode, completing registration is MANDATORY in order to receive instructions on how to collect the keys and access the apartment.
Keys can be collected free of charge via on-site keybox.
In case of problems, telephone assistance will be guaranteed until 10pm.

If you wish to receive the keys from a member of our staff in the apartment, it is possible, upon request with payment of a supplement equal to:
- From 15:00 to 21:00: €15.00;
- From 21:00 to 23:00: €25.00.

The apartment is located in the heart of the wonderful island of Ortigia, a few steps from the Ortigia Market, a typical market full of local products and street food, where it is possible to and taste local delicacies.
Walking through the streets of the island, it is possible to admire centuries of history, splendid buildings, lively trattorias and cafés, as well as other monuments such as the Maniace Castle, the Fonte Aretusa and the Piazza del Duomo, one of the most spectacular in all of Sicily . In summer you can swim off the rocks or on some small beaches and solariums along the seafront. Breathtaking views can be admired throughout the year.
In the area you will find many other services such as a bank, post office, minimarket, restaurants, bars, shops and much more.

- Temple of Apollo: 3 minutes on foot;
- Piazza Duomo/Temple of Athena: 9 minutes on foot;
- Fonte Aretusa: 13 minutes on foot;
- Cala Rossa beach: 14 minutes on foot;
- Maniace Castle: 20 minutes on foot.

- Caffè Apollo (bar): 3 minutes on foot;
- Apollonion - Osteria da Carlo (restaurant): 4 minutes on foot;
- inCoop supermarket: 4 minutes on foot.

The main towns of Sicily can be reached by Interbus coaches from the central station (via Rubino), from where the shuttles to Catania-Fontanarossa airport also depart (approximately 1 hour journey).

- FROM CATANIA AIRPORT: it is possible to the apartment by taking the ALIBUS bus service that connects Catania airport to Catania Central Station, where you can take the regional train to Syracuse station, 15 minutes on foot from the property.
Alternatively, from the airport it is possible to reach the apartment by taking Interbus bus, up to Syracuse Station.

- FROM SYRACUSE STATION: it is possible to reach the apartment on foot in 15 minutes or by taking the minibus.

- IF YOU ARE TRAVELLING BY CAR: parking is not included. It is possible to park for free in the street (white stripes - NOT guaranteed); Talete (paid) parking is 50 mt away.
