Modern 70 sqm apartment, for 4 people, located in the heart of Ortigia, the historic center of Syracuse (Restricted Traffic Area), a few steps from the main tourist attractions and the port.

The accommodation, with independent entrance, is located on the ground floor (some external steps and two internal steps to access). The accommodation consists of a kitchen, a large bedroom with an open walk-in wardrobe and a bathroom.

The apartment, inside a historic building, of which the original stone has been deliberately left exposed, is divided in half between the living area and the sleeping area.
The stone walls are historic and enrich the shower and walk-in closet, giving a peculiar and refined touch to the house.

The space is organized as follows:
- KITCHEN with 4-burner induction hob, fridge with freezer, moka, dishwasher, kettle, microwave oven, kitchenware, wine glasses, dining table, split A/C and fan;
- BEDROOM with double bed, double sofa bed, smart TV, open walk-in wardrobe (inside the characteristic stone dammuso) and split A/C;
- BATHROOM with shower (inside the characteristic stone dammuso), sink, bidet and toilet.

FURTHER SERVICES AVAILABLE TO GUESTS: unlimited wifi, heating and air conditioning via split (in the kitchen and bedroom), hairdryer, drying rack, clothes rack, iron and ironing board, fan.

PLEASE NOTE: there are two internal steps at the entrance to the apartment; a step in the bathroom to access the shower and four steps to access the walk-in closet in the bedroom.

The apartmet is for the exclusive use of our guests and won't be shared with the host or other tenants.

To ensure the security of your personal data, 7 days before your arrival you will receive instructions to register your documents via our Guest Portal and to pay the tourist tax (4% of the cost of the stay up to a maximum of €5.00 per person per night of stay, up to a maximum of 7 nights).

Switching on and off air conditioning and heating is subject to compliance with current Italian legislation (DPR 16/04/2013 n.74, DM 6/10/2022 n.383).
Summer: the average air temperature must not get below 26°C (78,8 °F) for all kinds of buildings.
Winter: the weighted average of the air temperatures must not exceed 19°C (66,2 °F). Time and period of operation depend on the climatic zone defined by the standard.
Syracuse Climatic Zone B: 7 hours a day from December 8th to March 23rd.

Check-in will take place in online self check-in mode, completing registration is MANDATORY in order to receive instructions on how to collect the keys and access the apartment.
Keys can be collected free of charge via on-site keybox.
In case of problems, telephone assistance will be guaranteed until 10pm.

If you wish to receive the keys from a member of our staff in the apartment, it is possible, upon request with payment of a supplement equal to:
- From 15:00 to 21:00: EUR 15.00;
- From 21:00 to 23:00: EUR 25.00.

The apartment, located in the heart of splendid Ortigia, is only 300 meters from Piazza Duomo, and is located behind the Marina. The accommodation can be reached by accessing from the Porta Marina, a historic entrance where the stone becomes a floral element in every worked and perforated part. Traveling a few meters, your gaze embraces the immense expanse of the Porto Grande, with a suggestive sea view.

Main points of interest:
- Piazza Duomo/Temple of Athena: 4 minutes on foot;
- Temple of Apollo: 5 minutes on foot;
- Fonte Aretusa: 6 minutes on foot;
- Maniace Castle: 14 minutes on foot.

- Antica Corte dei Bottari (restaurant): 1 minute on foot;
- Gran Caffe del Duomo (bar): 3 minutes on foot;
- Coop (supermarket): 4 minutes on foot;
- Ancient Market of Ortigia: 7 minutes on foot.

The main towns of Sicily can be reached by Interbus coaches from the central station (via Rubino), where the shuttles to Catania-Fontanarossa airport also depart (approximately 1 hour journey).

- FROM CATANIA AIRPORT: it is possible to reach the apartment by taking the ALIBUS bus service that connects Catania airport to Catania Central Station, where it is possible to take the regional train to Syracuse station, 20 minutes on foot from the property.
Alternatively, it is possible to reach the apartment from the airport by taking Interbus bus, up to Syracuse Station.

- FROM SYRACUSE STATION: it is possible to reach the apartment on foot in 20 minutes or by taking the one of the internal buses.

- IF YOU ARE TRAVELING BY CAR: The nearest car park is 800 mt away from the apartment and is called “Talete”. It’s open 24/7, with convenient fares.
